Windowed Mode
From Sims99Wiki
Usually, filming process requires you to go back and forth between the game and the editor. It takes a lot of time to minimize and maximize the game. The good news is, you can set up the game to be played on windowed mode.
There are 2 ways of achieving it:
Method 1
1. Go to Start>All Programs>EA Games>Your latest EP
2. Right click on the EP and choose Properties. You will get a pop out.
3. In the Target column, the content should looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 (EP name)\TSBin\Sims2Launcher.exe”
4. After the ” symbol, press the space bar once and add –w
5. Click ok and you’re done.
Method 2
Right click on the latest EP shortcut and choose Properties.
Follow Steps 4-5.
[edit] Note
- To reverse the effect, simply delete the –w.
- Playing in windowed mode might result in a slow game play.
- Instead of moving your camera by dragging your mouse to the edge of the screen, you will now have to hold the right mouse button and drag OR use the arrow keys.
