Eliminating Ghosting Effect
From Sims99Wiki
This tutorial if for Sony Vegas Movie Editor
Ghosting is the appearance of a secondary clip that overlapped the original clip. It happens when clips are slowed down in the editor. It is due to re-sampling because when clips are slowed down, the frame rate is automatically lowered. The editor creates a fade between the remaining frames to compensate the missing frames. Use Disable Resample to eliminate the ghosting.
To eliminate ghosting in individual clip:
Right click on selected clip > Switches > Disable Resample
To eliminate ghosting on all clips:
(Highly recomended as it slightly decreases the final render size)
Edit > Select > Select All > Right click on any clip > (Follow above steps)
OR
Right click on any clip > Select Events to End > (Follow above steps)
