Make us a video showing off your Sims dream life and you could score some amazing The Sims 3 prizes. Just create a quick video, upload it to YouTube, and enter The Sims 3 Live the Dream Contest. Your could win one of The Sims 3 Prize Packs, and be featured on The Sims 3 Channel on YouTube!
One finalist will be chosen from each of these categories:
-My Swanky Dream Home
-My Coolest Night Out
-My Wildest Neighbor
-My Unforgettable Date
From the four category finalists, a The Sims 3 Grand Prize Pack winner will then be determined by YouTube community vote.
Video entries must include some game footage or clips from The Sims 3, available from TheSims3.com, and must comply with both YouTube Community Guidelines as well as Official Contest Rules.

Our winner for October 2008 was PCOM1777 for his scary movie Twilight Pass.
If you love a good thrill with suspense and screaming this is a thrill!
A fantastic runner up for October was the movie Nick! part 1 the beginning of a very
dark series created by rosahege - both of these movies are very deserving of the votes and
are sure not to be missed!
In November a very different amazing movie blew the competition away. Spinning Plates by Laroling was hands down the winner for November 2008. A very abstract video with amazing visuals, there was an obvious labor of love put into this piece and we here at sims99 highly recommend you check it out!
Congratulations winners and voters, keep those votes coming - the end of December draws near and there's some amazing movies to vote for this month!

01-Dec-2008 | | Machinima Creators Come Together for Child's Play | | A group of machinima creators from various platforms and games decided to come together this holiday season in support of Child's Play, the charity where gamers can contribute to children's hospitals with gifts of games, books, and toys for kids in need.
Every Monday in December (and stretching into the weeks after the holidays as well), the members of this machinima group will be releasing a new video in support of this worthy cause.
The first of these videos, a comedy short by Phil Rice called 'Gift Horse,' is now available in HD resolution on Vimeo:

20-Oct-2008 | | Movie of the Month for September 2008! | The movie of the month for September 2008 is Turbulence by JPro07! This movie will have you amazed at how much detail and work that has gone into making this fantastic first part. Beautiful set designs and characters with great voicework from many fellow simmers bring this whole project together and shows why it is so deserving of movie of the month! Make sure you watch this movie and the rest of JPro07's videos!
Runner up this month was Ruska by Pyronium. Hauntingly beautiful visuals set the tone for this dark tale. Set to the music of Apocalyptica, you will feel the emotions pulled from these sims. Pyro has an amazing touch with his camera work and story telling. It is best watched with the lights low.

Her incredibly beautiful and emotional movie Hoppipolla features stunning camerawork and amazing set design. The story and the way Jill tells it through her video is just wonderfully created. Runner up for August 2008 is no stranger to winning movie of the month herself. Jaydee's mezmorising new movie From Yesterday is a fantastic sci-fi video and if you're used to Jaydee's amazing quality of work and special effects this one will surely not disappoint.
