Director's Description:
Back when I first became interested in Machinima it was because of Jondabrockman's music video of Africa, my all time favorite song. I vowed to once make my own and better version of it and now it's done !
I'm extremely pleased with the results, especially with the way some points in the song match the instruments the Sims play.
I hope you all enjoy this, let me know what you think of it !

That was very good the camera was a little jerky when you tried to zone in on the newspaper but other than that I thought it was very unique and well done. When I seen the zoom in on the mask with the smile on it, I got really tickled for some reason, I liked how you tried to give it a jungles of Africa theme, and the scenes between the story and the band were done very well.
Great Job overall 5 stars.

That was very good. You jungle set was very nice. I especially liked the scene where they kissed and the fire was around them. Great Job! 5 stars.

Overall I really enjoyed this movie. You really matched the playing of the instuments well to the beat of the song. I liked how it was slow motion a tad in the begining. Also the varitey of shots with the instuments, you didn't just use the same shots over and over again. You really did a good job on that aspect of the film.
There were a few jerky camera movements in there, but not too many, I also would like to see a higher quality of this as sometime the quality was a bit distracting, but not too much.
One other thing I noticed was in the shot of the newspaper you spelled survivors 'survivers'

Good job on this one. I really liked a lot of the shots you had that went with the music, especiall with the statues in the fire.

You really told an interesting story and it was nice to see it had a happy ending. great work.

This was excellcent. I loved the scenery you used, it really made me feel like I was there in Africa. I like the song too and I've always wanted to see Africa...I love lions and all the animals that are there. There were no technical mistakes that I could see...and the African Dancers were a nice touch too. Fantastic Job.
5 stars(would be more if there were more choices)

I have loved this song for ages, and I really enjoyed what you did with it. The scenery was great, and the old man dressed as a native was a nice touch.

That was one of the best music vids i have seen. The band setup was awesome, the camera work was great and the kiss scene (which i watched no less than 6 times) blew me away. The only complaint i have is the fact that he was wearing his bush hat when he proposed.. but that is very very very minor.

very well done, other than the jerky camera zooming, i thought it was great. it could have used some dramatic zooming around the end too..but it was great the way it was!!! good job!

This was nicely done with the stuff available to you--I love how you used the fire, the lights, and the darkness of the forest. The African dancers were also a nice touch. I particularly liked that shot where you see the fire briefly light up the statue in the foreground--it was a very nice effect! I did notice the other few things mentioned here--the jerky pan to the paper, the 'survivers' instead of 'survivors,' and yes, that he was wearing his bush hat while he proposed--but I still thought it was a fine movie.

I liked it. The lighting was great, the camera angles were alright, and the jungle scenes were amazing. There was just one slight problem, which was the lack of cc. Just download some custom content for next time. Overall it was good.
