How do I vote in the monthly contest?
- You must be logged in to vote.
- Go to any eligible movie's main page.
- Click on the trophy icon to vote for that movie for that month!
Who can enter the monthly contest?
- A movie is only eligible during the month it was submitted to the sims99 listing. Any movie that meets this requirement and is not banned, placed on hold, or deleted can be voted for. As of June 2006, four movies will be awarded the 'Best Film' award each month, one for Sims Machinima, one for General Machinima, one for Flash/Animated films, one for Live Action user movies. A full list of eligible movies in each category can be found here.
- To enter your movie, log in (or register if you don't already have your free acount), then link your movies! All you have to do then is sit back and wait for people to vote!
- You may ask people to vote for your movie by giving them the direct link to its details page, such as:

Remember, you must be logged in to vote.
Where/When can I see the winner of the monthly contest?
- On the winner's page. At the end of each month, the votes will be tallied and the favourite movies will be featured there!
What does the monthly contest winner get?
- Movies that have won a movie award will get a special award icon that appears in the movie's details page, plus it will be featured on the winner's page. Also the director will be recognised on the sims99 bbs with a special 'award winner' rank icon.
Can I vote more than once or change my vote?
- Each registered user gets one vote per month. You may change it at any time by hitting the trophy icon on the movie page for your new choice. Your new vote will overwrite your previous vote. Don't worry though, you WILL be warned before the decision is final, and you will also be reminded what your previous vote was before you must confirm.
Can I vote for my own movies?
- Don't be silly. Of course not. In fact, trying to cheat the system will end up with your votes and / or movie disqualified.
